On the evening of July 28, two Savannah residents were displaced from their home by a fire. Firefighters quickly responded to the scene and got the blaze under control. The cause of the fire, which had spread quickly, is currently unknown.

The two residents, who have not been named, will receive assistance from the American Red Cross.
