At approximately 1:00 am on July 17, an assailant drew a gun and opened fire on Keenan Gray after a brief altercation.

The nature of the altercation isn’t yet known, but after it happened, Gray was shot and hospitalized. He is in critical condition.

Gray is a soldier in the U.S. Army who lives on base at Hunter Army Airfield. He was attacked on or near Saint Julian street in downtown Savannah.
