Starting tomorrow, anyone entering a bar in the state of Georgia is required to be at least 21 years of age. The new law, Michael’s Law, is named after an 18-year-old Athens man who was beaten to death in a bar. His death raised questions regarding safety and responsibility that resulted in a new law being written and passed. Under the new law, bartenders, bouncers, and servers are also required to be at least 21 years of age.
