In celebration of Armed Forces week, The Pines Forest Garden Club would like to invite residents and especially all veterans and current military service members and their families to join us on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. for the re-dedication of the National Garden Club Blue Star Memorial Marker. The ceremony will honor all the dedicated men and women of our Armed Forces. The dedication will be held at the Marker located in front of the Appling County Library, 242 E. Parker Street, Baxley, GA. (In the event of inclement weather, the dedication will be moved to City Hall, 282 E. Parker St.)
