Congratulations to J.L. Lomax 5th grader, Nathaniel Hinson, for being chosen as the Valdosta City Fire Department Junior Fire Marshal of the Year!
Nathaniel was chosen because of his dedication to service as a Junior Fire Marshal during the 2015-2016 school year. He taught fellow classmates about fire safety and also participated weekly in a fundraiser called Hats for Heroes which raised money for the burn foundation. We are very proud of his leadership and service!
