The Georgia State Patrol is investigating after a car smashed into a semi-truck on I-95 during a police chase Sunday evening.
According to authorities, Richmond Hill Police were chasing a Toyota Camry on I-95 when the car crashed into a semi at exit 94. The semi did not have a trailer attached when the wreck happened.
Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the crash. Metro says the car rolled over during the collision, causing serious injuries.
Exit 94 was closed to northbound traffic for about an hour as investigators looked over the scene and crews cleared the roadway. The exit has since reopened.
