The 2016 Vidalia Onion Festival Committee is excited to announce that Big & Rich will headline the Saturday night concert on April 23rd at the Vidalia Regional Airport. The Grammy nominated, triple-platinum country music duo have released 5 albums that have produced a total of 11 Top 40 hits including “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)”, the Vietnam War-inspired “8th of November” and “Comin’ to Your City”, which is nearing a decade as the theme song for ESPN’s “College Game Day”, “Lost in this Moment”, “Look at You” , and “Runaway With You”. Their latest single “Lovin’ Lately” (featuring Tim McGraw) was just released on country radio last month and has experienced the most successful debut the duo has ever had. All five albums have reached the top 10 on US country charts.
“Big and Rich are headlining music festivals and packing arenas all around the country. We were lucky to land an act this big and current for this year’s festival. We’re just glad to have them playing here in Vidalia. From what I’ve heard, they put on a spectacular live show.” (Tim Jones – Chairman of Entertainment VOF).
